Our 3rd year celebration of the Meeting was a blast. We had at least 110+ folks come out last night and it was a bunch of fun.
Once again all the cooks out did themselves, wow was there ever a bunch of food ! Everykind of dish you could think of and the desserts was everywhere. Did ya'll see that celebration cake? It was "off the hook" ! Thanks Shawna ! They actually had to add an extra table to hold all the food that was brought in LOL ! The line went on and on and on :) Sounds like we may be gonna do another big dinner in June, we'll think of something to celebrate :) Well my hats off to all of you that make this happen every week cooking, cleaning and working from a heart of love to make this possible. Every Thursday at the Meeting is like a family reunion.
Our musicians and singers once again proved that they are the best, singing and playing some good stuff, you rocked the house last night! Thank you for all of you that bring your songs and instruments. We got some promising players sitting in bullpin if you have noticed the girls on the side with the mandolins. James Grady is taking time to teach as we play so they can follow along. Thanks James for sharing your talents!
Great response in the altar last night and I'm so thankful for the ministers that come and help out praying for the folks that come for prayer! I couldn't do it without you guys, you take a real load off. The musicians really help out too with the altar music, thanks.
