Great night last night as we closed out our series Grace, Divine Encounter, Defining Moment. We had a good attendance last night at the Meeting and as expected the Lord Blessed us greatly. Truly the Glory of the Lord is shining forth in the Meeting people. "Hey thats you" !!!!!
Our cooks and servers did it again, awesome job with the food. Nobody goes away hungry physically or spiritually from the Meeting and you guys just do the best job ever! Make me excited to see what you folks are gonna come up with next :)
I'm just amazed at the team of people that God has brought together! Our singers and musicians just keep getting better and better. Last night was just rockin ! I know churches that would love to have a 1/3 of the talent the Lord has put together at the Meeting. We got like 20 folks involved one way or the other in the music. You guys just roll it out every week, and it is really, really good. I'm also proud of our music students that are coming along real well. Tammy Williford, Mackensie Wilson, Sarah Williford and soon to be Alssya Cantrell. The girls and I was watching our upcoming musicians last night as we were playing on stage and Tristan and Katie both said when we got home that our upstart music makers have really got the timing thing going. Hey before you know it, you guy will be playing any song you want to. Keep it up, it just takes getting that instrument in your hands and practicing. Looking forward to you guys getting up on the platform with us and pickin and singing along.
The altar service was really good also this week, a real special thank you goes out to David Pruett and Franklin King for jumping in there and helping out. Its alot of work praying for folks after you preach and sometimes I just run out of steam and thanks for the altar prayer team. You fellas and ladies make it so much easier. Thank you so much.
I really do appreciate all you young folks that come. You are our future and I really appreciate that you are so faithful. We got some great children, teenagers and young adults. I promise you that if you will turn your lives over to God and trust in Him, He will never let you down.
Next week we start a new series of teaching and preaching called "Money Talks" a Biblical view of money. We are really excited about this series of teaching that I believe the Lord has placed in our heart about money and making a living. Did you know there are at least 250 verses in the Bible that speaks about money? Everybody should want to know what God says in His Word about money. We will explore what the Bible has to say about certain thoughts as it regards, money, making a living, saving, giving, God's supply to the believer etc. We also will take some practical principals taught in the Bible such as investing, saving, assets, liabilities, etc. All of these principle are taught in the Bible. God put those teachings in the Bible for you and I, the believer :) God wants to bless His people and He wants you to know His view when it comes to money. So we are excited and believe that this will be a life changing experience for those who will take notes, study and apply the principles taught in the Bible. Be sure to tell some friends and bring them with you ! Remember all we have to do is tell 3 people a week and invite them to come to the Meeting. Bring some paper and pen, you will not be sorry. These teachings will also be recorded and available for free as we progress in the teaching.
We love each and every one of you, hope you have a blessed weekend. God is moving on you and your life, just let Him do His thing and you will be amazed at the outcome!
